Ok...so everyone has their comforts when they are sick. I used to like to watch PIR ( price is right) but lately re-runs of Wife Swap have got me feeling better. I love the bizzare opposites they pair together. So far the clown family is probably my favorite, oh yeah they live in a garage. Ok its not my places to judge but how do you honestly look at your life and be like...oh yeah this is ok?
People are craaaaaaaazzzy...
Oh i've also been catching up on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Potato, Asiago, and Rosemary Pizza
Ok write down these lists of ingredients and go make this pizza ASAP! I was so hungry after getting out of Salsa class. It was later in the evening and the store would be closing in a while and I just settled that a homemade pizza would rock my world. To my surprise the heavens opened up and I was born with an idea-Potato, Asiago Rosemary Pizza. To further inspire my idea when I went to the cheese section they had put out a new cheese, Rosemary encrusted Romao. Is this a sign or what? So we gathered up our last ingredients and headed home.
This is loosely the recipe that i followed. Its pretty hard to mess up a homeade pizza, especially when you are using a pre-made crust..ahem. Its quick! Don't judge me :)
Pizza Crust ( I used whole foods pre-made)
1 small Yukon gold potato ( extremely thin sliced)
1 hunk of rosemary crusted romao for shredding
Asiago/Parmesan shredded cheese
2 large garlic cloves
Crushed Rosemary (or fresh if you have on hand)
Brush your pizza crust with olive oil and I used a micro plane to grate my garlic cloves on top of the pizza ( so they were like a paste) and used a knife to spread it into the olive oil.
Top the pizza with extremely thinly sliced potato slices ( they will cook quicker). Shred the Rosemary encrusted romao over the potato slices and I mixed in the asiago/ parm so it wouldn't be sooo powerful. Dash with a little bit more rosemary if you so choose.
Bake at 400 ( or wahtever your pizza crust recipe recommends) and finish off with some salt and ground pepper.
Kids this has to be my new favorite pizza. It would go great with a nice cold crisp wine. We had pizza and a bowl of watermelon last night. It was the bees knees.
Not my picture but one stolen off of google so you can get an idea. I was too hungry to get the camera and take a picture before I snarfed it.

Label Whore
I am one. I love love love love different packaging. Like I'm such a LW ( label whore) that I will buy something that is crappy if the packaging is amazing. I'm really trying to switch my dog food to the cool packaged one but the BF gets all whiny " well its crap food, and they need good food to stay healthy..blah blah blah." He doesn't realize how cool our dogs will be if they have COOL food!!
Before- boring, lame, stupid..i mean come on who really has a moon/sun thing as a logo!
Afterwards....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh impressive black bag with cool font and what nots...
Alright, all my fellow LW's I've gotta get some food on the table.....
Cheers-

Happy Saturday
Sooo much stuff is going on this weekend! I spent Friday afternoon shopping with my friend, Mel. I had to return a necklace at Anthro and so I did some shopping in the clearance section and I picked up these few items.
I already have this shirt in kelly green but its sooo soft and nice I would wear it everyday if I could. Its so comfy!
This watermelon pink sweater that is really light but I could layer with a long sleeve t-shirt and wear later when its cooler out.
Probably my favorite score was these Rust colored high heels. I absolutely love the color and they are deffinetly a throw back to the 70's. Especially at $29.95
To end the day we took a peek at DSW and I scored these shoes for 40% off the already clearance price. Love love love. I'm thinking an awesome gold necklace with these shoes and that watermelon pink top would be an adorable summer outfit.
Today I am going to ballet class in a few hours and afterward we are going to go to The Renegade Craft Fair. Its in Los Angeles this weekend for the first time! I'm sooo excited about this. I'm hoping to get some new artwork for my bedroom. Check it out if you live in Los Angeles!
Finally, we are going to go see Ray LaMontagne on Sunday evening
at the Hollywood Bowl
Which is one of the most beautiful venue's i've been too. Its set in the mountains of Los Angeles and the concert will probably start just as the sun starts to set. I absolutely can't wait. I think it will be a perfect ending to a great weekend.
Hope your is great as well!

Fall Wedding
via- snippet and ink
So I can't commit. Its such a big problem of mine. I love reading wedding blogs and everytime I open another one of my fav. blog porns. I find a new wedding inspiration board that I love even more! We all know that the men don't have any choice in the matter. They are supposed to just show up wearing the cute little tux that we were with when they picked out and that is it.
How am I going to decide the theme for my wedding? I mean seriously? With all of these amazing blogs and what not out there my little brain is going to explode. I figure I will have at least 5 weddings and they will all be different themes. So....now to finance these? Maybe I can spin it and get a grant of some sort for the purpose of research! Yes..research. I mean it really is a pyschological type of event...........
ohhhh anways, I need to be cleaning because I'm hosting Cake Thursday at my house. I wish that I had come up with this idea all by myself but alas I didnt. It comes from a group that Leslie participates with. Oh well! If its a good idea why try to reinvent it right?
Cheers-

Monday
My lady in leisure lifestyle is back on track. Woke up around 8 a.m. and had some fab snuggle time and got up just in time to have a bit of breakfast with the boy and make him a latte to take to work.
Now I'm checking up on my fav. blogs and found something that I must share with you all!
These little rings snap onto your finger and provide you with a tiny little appetizer plate. So when you are prowling a party you can have a drink and a snack without sitting down! Pure genius. Spoon sisters carry these and at $9.95 for a box of ten I'm tempted to get these for my next soiree...Oh wait..I'm supposed to stop buying frivolous junk! Ok...someone out there buy theses and have a party so I can' try one out!
Cheers and Happy Monday!

Happy Sunday
How was everyone's 4th? We spent our Friday and Saturday hanging around the beach and home and drinking. It all started on Thursday night with gigantic margaritas
and continued on the beach on friday with gigantic german beers and ended with a lovely dinner at my favorite restaurant, Cliff's Edge with Nikki and Jaie.
Saturday we spent lollygagging around. I had to return a dress to macy's and we wanted to catch an early showing of Public Enemies. It was awesome. I loved the makeup/costumes/music/everything. For me the movie really romanticized the era of gangsters and robbing banks. I love the way they talk and the outfits people wore for everyday chores. To me it was a great movie and the story wasn't too shabby. After the movie we headed to whole foods to pick up some necessary 4th of July nom noms. We ended up with 2 different kinds of veggie dogs ( the yves veggie dogs blow but these other apple sage sausages were amazing), two lobsters tails ( which mine was in-edible because it was spewing dark green gunk from its top and I was tooo grossed out) , corn on the cob, and some potato salad.
We had the watermelon at home and chowed on the rest until I tried to eat my lobster tail and it was soooo icky.
Even the doggies got a little bit of 4th of July tasties. Excuse mr. marley's ass it looks like a hot mess right now he is in desperate need of a grooming but its a little expensive!
P.S. I love their little round butts. They hardly sit like this, really only when they are getting treats, but its so cute!
We went and saw fireworks ( which were slighlty unimpressive. I guess I am spoiled by the banging job my hometown does or maybe its the fact that the last 5 minutes of the fireworks in Racine your heart is pounding because they blast off what seems like 50 fireworks right in a row. Anways, afterwards we saw My sisters keeper. This was a heart wrenching movie. I haven't read the book but it was a great movie. Cameron Diaz did an amazing job in a very serious roll. The family seemed geniune and not just a bunch of actors slapped together. It was a great movie in my opinion and worth the tears but I probably will never want to watch it again.
Hope the 4th of July has treated you all well. This was a great weekend of movie watching, hanging around and enjoying friends company.
