4th of July and Big Bear Lake

Thought, I'd share some photos from our 4th of July trip!

We stopped a few times on the way up the mountain to take some photos. In total, I think we were around 7,000+ above sea level.

The hot tub and as we discovered some of the most amazing skies late at night. The sky was chocked full of beautiful twinkling stars. Wish we would have brought the tripod to take some pics of the night sky.
This is a bit further down the mountain where its a bit more dry and not as lush.

It was such a great little vacation! I wish friends would have been free to join in on the fun but the cabin was amazing and being forced to relax and not do much is really good for the mind. It sure helped me battle my extremely long work days once I got back.

But before I run away for the weekend I thought I'd share some pictures of the city we're going to. Big Bear is about 2 hours away from Los Angeles and 120 miles out of the city. Its so close but when you go to Big Bear you feel like you're a world away.

An image from when you're driving into the mountain area. Its has these awesome bridges that go over the lake and all you see is blue water and mountains everywhere.

This picture is from the winter. I've never gone and I hope to remedy that this year! Snowboarding and skiing to be had all winter long.
They have an adorable old timey Main St.
Awesome rock formations in the middle of the lakes.
Big Bear is so beautiful and I highly recommend it if you live in the area to go!

I'll try to take some of my own pictures, these were just from random google searches of Big Bear. We are bringing up some booze, board games, books, and movies. I can't wait to relax and take my mind off everything.

Happy Tuesday Loveys!

So yesterday was a crazy amazing day for Jack and myself! We bought a car! Jack truly hates his current automobile. I dont blame him, its ugly and an old man car but it worked for many years and we couldn't really afford a car payment until now anyways. So my stepdad went and picked out the car last night and he's going to finish paying for it on Wednesday and he wants to do a few minor tuneups before he puts it on a truck to come out to us.

We are getting a white with red leather, pretty much looks like this but I pulled this one off of Google. I'm pretty stoked for it to be here! The top is a t-top ( so 2 panels come off ) and you basically have a convertible!

Kidssssssss! I am sooo excited! I am dreaming of the trips we will be taking up the PCH!

Also, wanted to mention if anyone is looking for a gym memebership that 24hr fitness is running an amazing special. I had to pay $199 up front with no initiaion fees/1stmonth/regulargymbullshit fees. So it works out to be $16.58 per month or I figure $4 a week. It makes it very non-commital to me. So if I dont go for a month I dont feel like I'm throwing away lots of money

You've been sleeping restless-ly wondering what do I get Raechel for her b-day. Its quite a challenge but I have solved it kids!
