Julie and Julia

What can I say? This movie is simply to die for! An inspiration to those who believe that they can't or will never have a passion for one particular thing in life. The visual aspect of this movie is so dreamy. I want to go to Paris stat! and the costumes, food, the locations...my oh my I simply loved this movie. It was also hilarious! Definitely will buy this when it comes out to DVD..

Just a few stills from the movie. Meryl Streep is excellent in the movie with such a vivid and well known character I was skeptical if she could pull it off! I didn't doubt for one second that it wasn't Julia Child actually acting in the movie!



Amy Adam's is so up to par with this movie. She such a great acctress. Simply love her! How about that view?



I'm not sure if this movie I had a soft spot for because I love to cook and I love to see people's faces after I've cooked something they think is scrumptious. Its an amazing reward.

Bills, Bills, Bills

So every month I grab my uber fun and chic bill payment calendar. Its a square for every month and then I write the date and which bills need to be paid. Its pretty effective for me so I don't forget how much money I owe the man but.....It always seems sooo overwhelming between car payments, gas, cable, etc...snarf. I hate to see hardearned money wasted on bills!



I picked up mine at Target for under $20 ( I think maybe $12-15). It even comes with fun stickies that you can move around for planning and etc..

What is your method for bills?

Etsy Problems

So I really want to create some new product for my Etsy site but...........I just don't know if I feel comfortable sinking a thousand dollars into a product that might not sell. hmpf.

Any thoughts from people who've tried to do this on their own?

Love it!

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I always use the loo before a movie and somehow between previews and the beginning of the movie I start squirming around. I just really have to go again! It must be now that I'm 25 I've hit this old lady hump or something! but anways there is a website http://www.runpee.com that will tell you the specific time in each movie to go for a "loo" break! So you don't miss the scene where Gerard butler gets completely naked.....or you know whatever you don't want to miss! I stopped last night at sports chalet to check out heart rate monitors so a bit of a rant about that. Hello...do they make cute looking ones? No! they are all watches and like something that you could go deep sea diving with! Ick. I was throughly dissapointed but while roaming around I found this little beauty! It really really makes me want to upgrade my current cruiser for this!

But at a price tag of $599 this Electra Gypsy bike is not for me! I really love it but there are lots of other things that I should spend $599 on!

Its been a whole 7 days since you were last here and I wasn't quite ready for my Sunday to be over but none the less you are here.

How was your weekend? Mine was a little bit lackluster due to the fact my unemployment check didnt show up and our rent was due. Blah!

I did go and see Hurt Locker and it was a great flick. It was really intense and full of emotion. I highly recommend it to anyone!
